PelicanLvr Posted January 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2017 We are elite status in Captain's Club but would like unlimited internet plan. Is there a discount because of the 90 "free" minutes we would get and if so how is the unlimited plan with discount activated? If no discount....such is life. First world problem. Rare markeb Posted January 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2017 There was a discount on Reflection last week. I believe $181 for 7 days. You had to go to the iCafe to have them activate the discount; you're only logon option as Elite was the 90 free minutes (a very silly way to allocate internet usage IMHO). BILL-WI Posted January 3, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 3, 2017 on a ten day cruise it was 30%. BILL

MattInFLL Posted January 5, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2017 So is the discount hit or miss? I am Elite thanks to being Diamond Plus on Royal. On Royal we get 2 free days or $39.95 towards the price of a package. It's part of the discounts loaded on to our sea pass cards. Have not been on Celebrity for a while so my memory is fading on how they do things.
Rare markeb Posted January 5, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 5, 2017 It was available, but not a simple drop-down box like Royal. The information on the welcome letter said "see the Captain's Club representative"; the log-on screen gave you the option of applying 90 minutes or entering a code. The CC rep didn't have a code, and referred me to the iCafe. The iCafe tech was like, yeah, I don't know why it says that, I can apply the discount here. Do you want the package? Done 30 seconds later. I believe it worked out to $181 for a 7 day cruise, with the elite discount.
MattInFLL Posted January 5, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 5, 2017 So I will clearly wait until I'm onboard and not pre-pay. Thanks !
caribill Posted January 5, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 5, 2017 So I will clearly wait until I'm onboard and not pre-pay. Thanks ! The pre-pay price is discounted by about 10%. Posters on other threads say they have called Celebrity pre-cruise to apply their elite discount to the lower pre-pay pricing.
