Allowing Cabin Upgrade

Also, I've read on here that on the Grand going forward from the E100's there is a door out onto the upper Promenade deck but it is not shown on the deck plans. The post was a little dated. Anyone know if there is in fact a door out to the deck?

 

There is such a door, and we've gone in and out it many times. But I think you're not supposed to.

Yes there is a door on both sides of the ship on deck 8 all the way forward.

We use it quite frequently.

If one has a cabin near these doors it's nice having quick access to the outside. ;)

We had once gotten an upgrade on Royal from Premium Obstructed Balcony to a Mini-Suite on the upper deck near all the public areas up there, We decided against, called Princess, were pretty much told we had to be insane, and still asked for and got our original cabin back. I think it was one or two days for the confirmation to show up.
