Early saver questions

Taking my first carnival cruise, starting with the best on Vista.

 

Can someone explain this early saver rate to me?

 

If I want to make a cabin change in the exact same category, is that allowed?

If there is a price drop? Is it done automatically or something I have to catch and call about?

 

Any other tips on this ship or rate would be appreciate.

Great questions! Can't help you with the first as I've never even thought about moving within the same category. Your second question: no, it's not automatic, you'll have to call or fill out their Price Protection form at https://www.carnival.com/core/requestforms/priceprotection.aspx

I just had my room changed to the same category due to noise issues with the mid ship lido rooms and there was no charge from my TA.

I have changed cabins within the same category under Early Saver with no problem. At the time I switched the price was the same as my original booking.

 

You must monitor the prices yourself.

you can not downgrade but can lateral changes or upgrades.
