Luvcrusn Posted January 17, 2017 #76 Share Posted January 17, 2017 We are thinking about returning to cruising after many years and we loved the Constellation in the past. Glad to hear the food on the Constellation is good, but is it as you said: "Never have we dined in a restaurant on land with food this great!" Certainly the food was really good the last time we sailed on this ship so maybe Celebrity has upped their game in the food department. Good news for us. Right know we are looking at a cruise on the Constellation. Would you kindly let us know why you think the ship is shabby and a let down. Also, what ports did you visit that were so great. Thanks for your help in planning our return to Celebrity. We are thinking about a summer of '17 cruise that includes Venice. Uh oh! Different from S class, but a place for a lovely vacation. Enjoy your journey.

teamflames Posted January 21, 2017 #79 Share Posted January 21, 2017 Sailed connie in oct and nov 16 and just sailed Millie over Xmas. Similar ships but the Connie crew is WAY better! Try and get Victor as your sommelier if dining in the mdr and say g'day from James. Jess the activities host is so sweet and approachable. Tiggertastic Posted January 22, 2017 #80 Share Posted January 22, 2017 I really loved connie, after doing S class about 14 times, it made a great change and their lounges were good. The dining room felt empty Sent from my iPad using Forums
ladybrockett Posted February 10, 2017 Author #81 Share Posted February 10, 2017 After a great cruise I can verify that Connie is definitely not that bad! In fact she is very good IMO. Little bit tired around the edges but overall in great shape. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Toronto Guy Posted February 10, 2017 #82 Share Posted February 10, 2017 She was great in September. Could use a refresh but I'd sail on her again as is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
bertrande Posted February 10, 2017 #83 Share Posted February 10, 2017 We are on Connie now and I have to say I am loving the ship and the crew. I don't even feel it looks tired. I would sail on her again in a heartbeat. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

ChucktownSteve Posted February 11, 2017 #86 Share Posted February 11, 2017 We found the Connie in better shape than the Summit. But also one of the best crews we've experienced. There was such a good vibe amongst the various departments when we sailed her. Maybe our timing was lucky but they were great.
