Uber/Lyft from Miami to Port Everglades

I'm familiar with the uber concept (have not actually used it though) and have never heard of Lyft (It appears it's similar/same to uber) and I was wondering if anyone has used either of these services to get from either Miami Airport or a nearby Miami Airport hotel to get to Fort Lauderdale Port (Everglades) and if so, how was your experience? Cost? Is it a good idea for 2 persons with 2 large pieces of baggage etc? I have used SAS in the past but of course they don't service the Miami Airport.

TIA

Cruised week after Thanksgiving--a little over a month ago.

Used Lyft from Fort Lauderdale airport to Hilton Miami Hotel, used Lyft from that hotel to the Port of Miami post-cruise, and used Lyft to the airport a couple of days after staying in Fort Lauderdale a couple of extra days.

Totally happy with costs and services.

We did not use Lyft from the Port of Miami post-cruise to Fort Lauderdale 17th Street Hotel--we will in the future.

Either Uber or Lyft are fine.
