So the wife and I are booked on this cruise in 7467 and we have friends in 7466. These are aft cabins. What are the pros and cons of these cabins? This will be fore our 10th anniversary trip. TIA.

My first aft-extended balcony was 7466 on the Magic, same deck plan as the Breeze.

 

Absolutely loved the cabin, the view from the balcony of nearly 180 degrees, the sound of the wake, the quiet area due to virtually no foot traffic in the corridor.

 

The only downside for me was the combination of very little breeze and nearly full sun all day long. Some would not mind this and sun worshippers should love it.

 

Our next two aft balconies were on deck nine. Still no breeze, but partial shade most of the day from the overhang.

 

There's nothing comparable to an aft balcony view. If you don't need shade deck 7 is a magnificent choice.

I have room 7464 booked. I'm excited for an aft balcony, I've never had a balcony!
