jengru Posted January 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2017 We have the option of purchasing a 2 for 1 dining for $33 - does anyone know how this works? Do you get to choose your restaurant or are you just randomly assigned? Thanks in advance!

royalcruz Posted January 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2017 We purchased the BOGO 2 night package. We had to choose a time for the first night, and we will find out which restaurant we've been assigned to after boarding. After boarding we will make our reservation for night 2. Our ship has Giovanni and Chops.
sg1phileshipper Posted January 18, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2017 Sorry to invade this thread, but I have a couple of questions. When does the 2-for-1 typically go on sale? 90 days before your cruise? So if I understand this correctly, you get to chose the time for the first night, but not the restaurant? Thanks Cindy

You may be able to change it once you are on board. Unfortunately, there's no "typical" with RC when it come to when things become available to book. jengru Posted January 18, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted January 18, 2017 Thank you for the responses. Yes it is about 90 days out from our cruise that it was offered.
caribou9 Posted January 19, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 19, 2017 We saw this on the RCCL website. We are sailing on the JOS. The ship has a Japanese restaurant serving sushi and sashimi. I will not purchase this special in fear of getting booked there. Sent from my SM-G928V using Forums mobile app
KiwiGal117 Posted January 19, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 19, 2017 For what little it is worth (knowing that there is not "typical" on RC) we booked this and had no problem booking our preferred restaurant on the first night. Merion_Mom Posted January 19, 2017 #12 Share Posted January 19, 2017 (edited) Did you see it in your Cruise Planner? It is not offered on every ship or on every cruise. So that works for me. :)
