Ultra Premier Cruises

Man I am so pissed. I called in today to book the Ultra cruise on the Vista and they are sold out on the offer code. Has anyone ever had this happen to them, but still found a way to get them to push the offer through? If so please help. Thanks

I have not had an Ultra offer, but last year on a Premier Cruise offer that I could not attend, I asked it they could do anything for me on another cruise that I booked (not a casino cruise offer). They stated that there would b $525 waiting for me at the casino cage.

I would sugest booking another Ultra or Premier cruise if you can, but ask for some other perk ($$$) anyway.

Thanks for that bit of information. I am going to try and see what I can do (let me stop lying, i am going to have my wife call and see what she can do, lol). I will definitely let you know what happens.

We are looking at a premier off of a 6 day out of Port Canaveral the week before christmas. I hate this year they dont have a premier cruise that is going to be sailing during christmas day.

So I just got back from the Glory 5/27-6/3 and see an ultra offer, not really sure what ultra was, but I called and put a 24hr hold on the vista. After confirming the dates will work, I call next day to pay the deposit, but they held an interior room for me instead of a balcony, simple fix right? Not so much... since my booking the ultra offer has sold out on the vista and they will not allow any changes without losing my ultra. I did confirm my interior room so I wouldn't lose my reservation all together, and I have tried numerous phone calls and nobody can help me, they said the only way to get a balcony and keep my ultra is to keep my interior room and buy an additional balcony. Does anyone know an email to the casino host or phone number, or any other way to upgrade my existing reservation without losing my ultra?

maybe they can help. they definitely couldnt squeeze me on the Vista with my Ultra offer, but they are the casino people, and if anyone can do something for you, it would be them.

Someone in this thread said you don't get any casino cash on an ultra. That is incorrect. I am getting $900 on my ultra November 4th on the glory.

That was me and posted in January. My offer last year didn't have cash. None of my friends reported cash either last year.

This year is different. Lots of folks reporting cash with their Ultras.

Saw the Ultra offers on my "manage my cruises" page last week. Offers went through December. Just got a flyer in mail yesterday with 2 offers for January- one for Glory. I had already booked Glory for the week after! Too much $$ to change airfare. Oh well!

I took a premiere cruise last year, This will be my first time on the vista and first time on an Ultra. So does everyone get a prize still? Anything I should know?

All invited but not their guests (unless they were invited too but need to make casino aware prior to sailing)

I got my Ultra offer the other day too. I left a message for my carnival travel agent telling him I wanted to book the Vista Dec 16th. When he called me back, it had sold out 20 minutes before! I was so bummed. He said he would keep checking to see if it cam back up. Guess what? I got a call about an hour ago. Someone had cancelled and guess who got the spot? I did! I am so excited! I am sorry for those of you that haven't been as lucky yet. Do what I did and call your agent and have him/her keep checking. You never know, someone else might cancel.

My last Ultra was November 27, 2016.

There have been some changes to the qualifications. In previous year you needed 7500 points in a year to qualify for a Premier and has to sail at least one Premier to get an invite to an Ultra. Other criteria for an Ultra invite was not widely know. Now you must get 7500 on a Premier to get an invite to an Ultra.

The Ultra cruise itself is similar to the Premier in that you get goodies in your stateroom each night, a branded Ultra gift and the DOU card for you and a guest. Ultras do not come with cruise cash but do offer big prize drawing. Items on my recent cruise included big screen TVs, up scale watches, the latest smart phones, I pads and I pad minis. Every invited guest gets a big prize.

Each night at midnight there was a drawing for a free cruise in a suite and you did have to be there to win. Each day there were events and give away in the casino. I felt like I lived there. It was fun and great to see old friends and make new ones but I don't know that I ever had been more tired after a cruise than that last Ultra.

If you have specific questions I am happy to help.

I got an invite and not even 24hours later it was already booked for the Premier invites. Do you ever get a 2nd invite if you don't make the 1st? I had over 10K points so I was really hoping so :(

I booked a cruise for Nov. 11 on Vista and then received an offer on the same sailing for an Ultra. I called but they told me it is not yet on their computer. Does anyone know if they will change the booking I have already made to an Ultra and if so what does that do to the price. Actually got a good deal on the original booking (6th deck balcony for $1042 with $200 OBC).

I received my Ultra offer in snail mail today. My PVP told me they haven't been loaded in the system yet. If your Ultra offer ends up being a lower rate than your current rate, you should be able to price match to it and pick up the Ultra perks. If you're currently booked under early saver, you'll retain the more restrictive early saver rules when you price match to the new rate. Be aware the Ultra offer has a non-refundable deposit of $99 per person. You'll likely lose your OBC if you rebook or price match to the Ultra offer. I was a little disappointed that 5 of the 8 Ultra cruises are out of Miami.

I'm currently on the Vista, so obviously haven't seen my snail mail, can you list the ships, and dates of the Ultras, I'd be interested?

Thanks

10/20/18 MIA 7n Glory

11/3/18 MCO 14n Breeze

11/11/18 MIA 7n Magic

11/11/18 GLV 7n Vista

11/17/18 MIA 8n Horizon

11/17/18 MCO 7n Breeze

11/25/18 MIA 7n Magic

12/15/18 8n Horizon

Both my husbands offer ($1000 'casino' cash) and my offer (200) look so much like regular Premier offers that I didn't realize at first it was for the Ultra. Last years Ultra offer sounded great with no cash, but free balcony room (could have been the Elite offer, though.). Not sure if it is due to our last play, but I'm not impressed.

I suppose it doesn't matter, anyway. I booked Yacht Club on MSC Seaside for this years fall vacay, initially thinking I would cancel it for the Ultra if the times worked with our off time. I suspect DH will earn something from that and our Carnival days just might be numbered. Even with the extra travel time (flight to MIA, vs. drive to GLV), the prices with discount on Carnival are no longer competitive. We'll see.

I hope so, cause I already had the Breeze booked in Nov., so I emailed our Carnival planner, hopefully she gets back to me tomorrow, as we're on the Vista right now headed towards Grand Cayman!

Thanks for the info!

Your offer also came in the postal mail?

The offer doesn't show up online?
