sandyh85 Posted January 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2017 Hello all! I'm booked on the 2nd Breakaway trip to Bermuda of this year - 30 Apr 17! Having been somewhat recently on the Escape, I found it tough to find a lounge chair on sea days. Now, while I realize that weather can be tricky so early into spring, anyone have any experience with deck chair availability on the BA? In April/May? Thanks to any and all responses - I know I may come down to a day-of decision based on how nice the weather is in NYC that day! PS - my first choice was a spa pass - can use in any weather! But sold out... Bummer :(
Mississippi1 Posted January 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2017 Are you in the Haven? We are between 90 and 100 days, so unless you are Haven, spa passes wouldn't be available yet.
Rare BostonGal35 Posted January 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2017 there are many tucked away upper decks on breakaway where chairs can be found. those who complain about no chairs, are usually people that want to be 2 feet from the pool. also, if you notice chairs being held with towels, just speak to an attendant. they will remove them. cage keeper Posted January 23, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2017 I have thought about this also so for 30$ pp we upgraded to a large balcony so we will always have a lounge chair for hubby.

The problem with bouncing around lines - never can remember the policies on each line! This sounds like it may be an option too...
bridgetneely Posted February 1, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 1, 2017 If you don't want crowds of people, SpiceH20 seemed to have plenty of deck chairs. I don't think you would need to purchase a pass for Vibe Beach Club unless you want to spend time on deck at night. At night, SpiceH20 has parties. sandyh85 Posted February 1, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted February 1, 2017 Awesome! I sailed the Escape last year, my first ship of that size, and never could find a deck chair in a decent spot, let alone 2 together! I'm just hoping the weather will be okay.
