Last Day to Add Name to Reservation

When you book a cruise under one name, with the second person TBD, by when does the second person's name have to be added? Does that name have to be decided by final payment date? Or can it still be added later as long as the payment is made?

Name changes to a reservation can be made up to 24 hours prior to the cruise. (from the website)

 

Personally I would do it at least 48 hours prior.
