wendycook22 Posted January 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Hi Everyone, We are thinking about doing this during our stop in Nassau. I was wondering if anyone can give me an estimated idea on how long it takes to walk through the exhibits. We were thinking after walking them to hit the beach for a bit to check it out. In case we need to tell our driver how long we will be for him to return for us, I figured it may be a good idea to get a rough idea how long on average it takes to view the habitats. Thanks in advance.
Rare CruisinCrow Posted January 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2017 I'd say about 2 hours, depending on how fast you go through, if you're taking pictures, etc. The aquarium isn't that big but you can walk over to the predator lagoon too. Check out the glass sculptures in the casino and take a picture sitting in the giant throne. I wouldn't worry about having a driver come back to get you. There will be cabs lined up by the public access point to take you back to port.

Perfect - We will just grab a cab once we are done then :) Is there a store in the area of Atlantis on our way to the beach for us to buy some beer while we sit and enjoy Cabbage Beach, or maybe it would be easier to buy it from a vender on the beach? blue_water Posted January 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2017 2 hours is about right and should also give you time to tour the casino and some of the grounds, there are 2 separate digs...

The only stores nearby would probably be in Marina Village but that's on the opposite side of Atlantis from the beach. I'd just buy something from the vendors. Which reminds me - definitely pick up a couple of bottles of water before you head to Atlantis. Atlantis is crazy expensive and there aren't any water fountains. Magster1987 Posted January 26, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2017 (edited) We hvave the same plans for our Nausau stop in february. Can you walk from atlantis aquarium to Cabbabe beach? or is it better to take a taxi to the beach club on the other end of the beach? Edit: Just found this thread :) http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2448179 Edited January 26, 2017 by Magster1987
