You Favorite Bar On The Epic

What is your favorite bar on The Epic and why?

 

I never drink and drive so when I am on vacation it is a real treat just to belly up to the bar and hang out for a couple of hours.

 

Between not having to drive and having the UBP I plan on doing this more than once.

 

Any suggestions and drink recommendations are welcomed.

We enjoyed the atrium bar. Great bartenders, and they make all drinks. Tell the female bartenders there that Tina with the pastachio drink sent you. The casino bar didn't make any frozen drinks, O'Sheehans only made 2 frozen drinks(BBC & Bushwacker). Bar at Spice H2O good also. We did hit almost every bar. Certain ones opened only at certain hours.

Just off the Epic yesterday - Shakers and Maltings were my two favorites. Comfy seating and great music in the evenings. I'd bring my book, order a drink, and just enjoy the music and people watching. :)

On sea days I really enjoy the bar at the top of Spice H2O. Great views to enjoy aft. They also have good snacks back there.

The best bar on the Epic is Maltings... They will make you whatever you like (limited to the on hand ingredients) and they don't have jugs of the "pre made" drinks that have become so prevalent on NCL of late...

I liked H2O because it was outside. DH preferred O'Sheehans. O'Sheehans had the best bartenders on our voyage -- most efficient, personable, knowledgeable.

 

Since you have the UBP, why not try 'em all & figure out which one suits you best.

Really liked Spice H20 on sea days, the frozen drinks there were the best on the ship. However, for service, I liked the Casino bar - the one bartender there was grumpy as anything but was quick, efficient and always made drinks in the proportions I liked.

The Atrium Bar and O'Sheehan's. The servers at the Atrium Bar are friendly and fun, can get any drink you want there. O'Sheehan's, loved the wings and fun place to sit and people watch.

Maltings for good music and a nice atmosphere. Headliners for a good laugh and being a bit louder, raucous.

Shakers is probably my fav - love getting a Lavender Patch or Chocolate Martini and relaxing next to the piano! :-)
