PCC Wrong Info

Booked Boston to Bermuda on the Dawn with NCL. At the time of booking the PCC listed several offers that I was eligible, one of them being the Dash Sale. She listed $100 OBC, free phone calls, free internet pkg, free photo pkg and $50 casino cash. We are sailing with friends, who have booked a different cabin and the same PCC stated to them the same offers. I could not see these offers online and they did not show up on my confirmation even though the Dash Sale was listed. The 100 OBC was there but nothing else. I emailed the PCC to make sure it was all set and she said yes, that as long as it said Dash that all the perks were included. I then sent an email stating the perks and told her that is what I was expecting and she messaged back "yes, you're all set, bon voyage". Something told me, she was wrong, since I didn't want an issue on the ship, I called NCL today. Yes, she was wrong, I'm only eligible for the $100. Now I get the task of calling my friends and letting them know that they have less perks due to a NCL mistake. Great first impression NCL,

Should I push NCL to honor the offer, since I do have it in writting?

You can try, but the perks you mentioned in fact make up the Norwegian Selects promo, which so far has only been offered for Gem and Breakaway sailings out of NYC. You PCC evidently confused this with the "Dash" sale (first week of January 2017), which only offered OBC.

I think you should talk to a supervisor and explain that despite several opportunities to catch her error, your PCC continued to promise you the wrong stuff, and that she needs to revisit all the bookings she made during the Dash sale because your group is certainly not the only one that will be disappointed and angry because of her misinformation.

Then ask the supervisor if they will do anything for you and your group (I wouldn't count on it, but at least an apology). Then ask for a different PCC going forward.

Based on another similar thread where they refused to correct it on the ship; I would def push back now if you have something in writing.

I have no answer but it looks like the exact same thing happened to someone else, NCL did not honour it despite the proof the op had

This was what happened to us.

It sounds like NCL really needs to do some training with their customer service people so they understand what the "rules" are and stop giving the consumers the wrong information.
