Vista anytime dinning check-in question

When checking-in for anytime dinning on deck 5, does everybody in my party have to be there or can I go alone and meet the rest at restaurant entrance? Thanks.

I would also like to know the answer to this question. Also what is the largest table size?

didn't have anytime dining, but from the make up of the lines I saw, I'd say no. Just someone from the cabin or cabins linked in the system.

what happens if you just show up for dinner, like the Magic or the Dream? Why do you need to check in?

At times I went alone but I made sure everyone was ready when I went to check in.

You can check in and request your table without everyone being there but they won't seat you until everyone in your party is ready to go into the dining room. And that is just common courtesy.

i was on the vista 1/22/17. as a platinum member you go directly to the dining room. i only ate there 1 time for the first elegant night. we went at around 6:30 and had to wait 30 minutes. they gave us a buzzer device and we just sat at the bar inside the dining room. when you get to your room the first day there will be a flyer on the desk where to check in for any time dining as a platinum member.

We were a group of 13 who all booked your time dining. A few of us were platinum so we were instructed to report to the dining room when we were ready for our table. At that point they took everyone's cabin numbers for check in. We would usually hang around the bar area directly in back of the check in table until our table was ready. They were able to sit us all together except for one night when we were split up between 2 tables in the same area. If you are not Platinum/Diamond, you check in on Deck 5. I am not sure if they would need everyone's cabin number too but my guess would be yes or to have everyone there at check in.
