Beverage Package

Hello,

How does the beverage package work? If I order a beer does my receipt come with just the gratuity on it? Or is it an accounting nightmare? Thanks......Stan

The gratuity was included in the price of the package when you purchased it. No further gratuity on Celebrity, unlike some other lines.

The only time you'll get a receipt is if the price of the drink you ordered is higher than what is covered by your package. Covered drinks = no receipt. Gratuities are always covered by your package.

Keep in mind that you can only "pay the difference" on higher priced items if you have the Premium Package. If you have the Classic Package, you will be charged for the entire price of the drink, plus gratuity, and will be asked to sign a receipt.

At booking, both have to choose the same perks. After that, each person is ndependent. One person in a room can buy a premium one can buy a classic. Or one can buy a soda package, one can buy an alcohol package, etc.

My question was not clearly stated. After boarding, can only one person purchase a beverage package or do both adults in same room have to purchase? Thanks for your help. On HAL both have to purchase, but I only drink water and coffee :)

After boarding, you and your cabin mate can choose what works individually, package, no package, whatever. You are not required to buythe same things.
