BK456 Posted February 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2017 I noticed there are three different types of cruise cash: General, bar, and photos. If I put general cruise cash on my stateroom, can I use that for photos also? Or do I have to specifically put cruise cash photos credit on my room also? Don't forget, cruise cash is non refundable, per the carnival website. Use it or lose it... Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
joaniedee72 Posted February 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2017 What do you mean by cruise cash? Can't you charge everything to your shipboard account? I'm new to Carnival, but not to cruising where we just charged everything to our account.

lookitsmikel Posted February 6, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 6, 2017 And if you don't think you are going to use all the cash, make sure you go to the Casino, load it onto your card and then cash out... Easy way to get your money back! (At least you used to be able to do this, someone correct me if this has changed).
Shaded Lady Posted February 6, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 6, 2017 Don't forget, cruise cash is non refundable, per the carnival website. Use it or lose it... Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk Cruise cash itself is 'use it or lose it' but you can convert it in the casino and take the cash if you want... same thing with On Board Credits... we had $120 left over in cruise cash (remember as someone said, this process only works for the general cruise cash- not the bar or photo version): • Go to a slot machine in the casino, insert your S&S card and set up a casino account if you haven’t already (just need your name, DOB and your S&S card). Deposit the amount left in cruise cash into your casino account (it always uses cruise cash first before any other money on your account). • Once the money is in your casino account, you can play some if you want. We didn’t bother after 1 turn each- but we still won $5! Then we just opted to cash out on the slot machine. • We took our S&S card to the casino cashier and told her we wanted to cash out our account. They gave us the $120 cash (plus $5 we had won!)
