navybankerteacher Posted February 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2017 Key West is a great town to walk about on your own. Nassau is so-so, but there are great beaches nearby - our favorite is Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island - just to the east of the Atlantis complex - which is awesome, but pricey to access. Freeport is a commercial port - I think the only thing to do there is to either taxi to a beach (I do not think there is anything nearby) - or my favorite Freeport activity - which is to stay aboard and enjoy the uncrowded ship. SuiteTraveler Posted February 8, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2017 Key West: Ernest Hemingway home, conch train tour or trolley tour, eat some Key Lime Pie and Conch fritters.
grnidlad8 Posted February 10, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2017 When in Key West, take a walk to Blue Heaven Restaurant. It's awesome!
cruiseapril Posted February 11, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 11, 2017 Nassau also has good beach resorts on Cable Beach. Also in Nassau, Ardastra Gardens & Zoo is a short taxi ride from the pier and enjoyable to walk around.
