Rodoverer Posted February 9, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2017 Has anyone ever removed a 3rd guest from a reservation? Our son was going to go with us on our Alaska cruise but needs to back out because his plans changed. We are paid in full and also have a couple of excursions paid for all 3 of us. What will RCI do in this situation? Will they allow the change and issue a partial refund? Or will they make us cancel our entire reservation? Hopefully, someone who has had a similar experience may be able to offer some advice before I call RCI.

Ourusualbeach Posted February 9, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2017 The rules for cancelling a third or fourth guest are different than for cancelling guest 1 or 2. A third or fourth guest may be cancelled up until the final penalty phase without incurring a penalty. The final penalty phase starts at 14 days so you may cancel and receive a full refund including taxes and fees of their fare up until 15 days prior to sailing. Clarea Posted February 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2017 Once you cancel the third person, any excursions (or dining, or drink packages, etc.) that person had reserved will automatically be refunded to the credit card that was used to book the excursions.
