Newcastle Herald online today has an article Throwback Thursday which shows QE arriving this day last year. Lots of photos. We were lucky to be onboard and enjoyed QE.

There are also links to other articles re cruising with lots older photos of ships arriving or departing Newcastle.

Didn't go back to our first cruise from Newcastle on the Fedor Shalyapin in 1979 though.

Cruising has certainly changed a lot from our first to our last cruise which was on Ovation of the Seas!
