Sheltered Balconies are on decks 4, 5 and 6 on QM2. We have one on Thursday - QM2, Sydney to HK. They are basically a large open window cut out of the hull, no window glass as such, so always open to the elements, but sure, fresh air 24/7 into your cabin if you open your cabin balcony door, a practise that cruise lines don't like as it affects the a/c. Room for two to sit on the balcony with two chairs and table, but they are cut high, so you have to stand up to get the good view.
