Rare John&LaLa Posted February 28, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 28, 2017 T1 here in PC was way behind schedule. Most of it had to do with dredging the dock area as I recall. Our structure is not as ambitious as the one in the video. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Forums mobile app

Does Royal still have plans to move one of the Oasis class ships there?

We don't k know yet but I am 200% sure. Miami is expanding and new ships are in port. I'm sure they want a new oasis ship in miami. The city was not ready for an oasis class ship until now so it seem like a perfect timing. Can't wait to see an oasis class ship in my back yard [emoji313] Sent from my iPhone using Forums

I'm sure it's not as bad in a big town like Miami, but it sure impacts crowds and traffic in our little town. Oh, and can you really see it from your backyard. ;p
ERIE 13 Posted February 28, 2017 #13 Share Posted February 28, 2017 Where will this be built compared to where they dock now
CRUISEBOY305 Posted February 28, 2017 #14 Share Posted February 28, 2017 Now with the new tunnel it's so much easier getting in and out of the Port Miami. I much prefer Miami over Port Everglades to be honet. I was at PM in January on Azamara and I saw no signs of construction happening where this new terminal is supposed to be. ERIE 13 Posted February 28, 2017 #18 Share Posted February 28, 2017 I do like the airlines type of baggage claim compared to the chaos of by the numbers that RCL used to use & still use at other ports.
Pumbaamd Posted February 28, 2017 #19 Share Posted February 28, 2017 The port camera in MIA is a good guide as to where the new terminal will be built. Follow the channel west to east and you will sea where the cruise terminals currently end and the cargo area takes over. The new terminal should be in that general area. If it gets any closer to the end of the channel, it would be isolated away from the other terminals. http://www.portmiamiwebcam.com/ will take you the port cam.
