My pound/ euro signs don't work

I was replying to a question when I noticed this: if I try to post that something is in pounds or euros, the signs appear as question marks.

For instance- I was writing that something was 40 pounds in UK and 30 euros in Spain... so naturally I wrote: ? 40 and ?30.

And the ? and ? sign, which work as I'm typing, come out as question marks.

I have asked on the Glitch page, but it's still the same.

Now to see what happens to those signs when I press Post... ;p:rolleyes:

D'you think it's a political comment about the weakness of the euro and especially the pound? ;p

I couldn't answer yesterday as the site threw me off several times.. I've had to re-enter by stealth today.
