Drink ideas with things you can buy onboard

We are cruising on 11/18 and I'm looking for drink ideas using only the stuff you can order ahead of time and have delivered to your room. The wife and I don't drink enough to warrant the Cheers program but it would be nice to have a drink on the balcony at night. I like whiskey but not with cola, wife likes rum and cola. Crown and 7up or Sprite would work for me but not that wife as she doesn't like whiskey. What are some drink ideas with Rum or Vodka using the mixers I can buy and have delivered to my room? Not looking to carry anything on board.

thanks for the ideas. no on the cranberry and grapefruit and rum/coke. don't want vodka / oj either.

 

i've never had ginger ale - its kind like sprite correct? rum and ginger ale may be doable. i like citrus flavors.

Ginger Ale is NOT like sprite or 7-up at all....it's got a fizzy "ginger" taste....(after all, it's supposed to be made with ginger!)...I can't imagine mixing rum with ginger ale.... but a whiskey might go with it!

Bourbon or whisky and Ginger w/ twist of lime is my go-to. I'd think you could get hem from the bar or even room service
