Lori444 Posted March 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2017 Hi everyone. We are first time cruisers and will be sailing on the Liberty in a couple of weeks...can't wait! Do the various pubs/bars/lounges on Liberty offer any food? Like can you order a little appetizer or snack with your drinks and eat at the bar? If so, is it complimentary or at extra cost? Just thinking of other dining options for when we just don't want to do a big sit down in the MDR, specialty restaurants, or Windjammer. Thank you to the community for all of the information offered up on these boards. It's priceless!

No food at bars, but there are complimentary snack type places such as Sorrento's and Cafe Promenade, and you can bring that food to the bars. spookwife Posted March 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2017 not really. Vintages will sometimes offer a few tapas during mid afternoon. they also have the wine pairing dinners where they will pair wines to match whatever the MDR is serving that night otherwise the bartender might pull out a plate of olives, crackers and cheese with a wine flight. Sorrentos is literally across the Promenade and they have nibblies( mostly small sweets)
mbarnes27 Posted March 15, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2017 Sort of in line with that, do you have to order a drink to sit in the venues? If there's a musician at Hoof and Claw or Vintages can you just grab an iced tea at Cafe Promenade and go sit down there or do you have to order something? Kids can sit there too.

Parrotheadtoo Posted March 19, 2017 #9 Share Posted March 19, 2017 Ahoy Cruising Mateys.. We sailed the Brilliance of the Seas in February. They were offering food in the pub on sea days. One day they had Irish Stew in a bread bowl along with small chip bags and nuts. The other sea day they had Shepherds pie. There were no additional cost for the eats.. We made sure that we mentioned how we enjoyed the eats in the pubs on our survey, as this is not a usual venue on other ships that we know of.
