Funship Freddie???

So what's up with Funship Freddie? IS he only on certain ships, certain sailings? Never saw him on my last cruise. Just curious, thanks.

He was on the Victory 1-30-05 but not on Miracle 10-30-05.:p

Ive also seen him on every cruise. But, if you arent in the right places you might never see Freddie.

He's on every cruise but you may not always see him especially if you don't have kids

They all have other jobs on the ship in addition to donning the Freddy suit. ON the Triumph, it was revealed that he was also the multi-media technician for the main showroom.

how do you know its a her?? cant go by size coz most of those men that work the ships are tiny too.

 

I got a funship freddie doll last cruise for Valentines day so I can see him all the time.

Funship Freddie welcomed us aboard the Fantasy, and later that same day was posing for pictures by the big stairs in the atrium. And we saw him on formal night all decked out in a tux. My mom loved having her picture taken with him.

"He" had his tux on for formal night on our last cruise too.

I have to remember that for the next dress code thread that comes up. :p

I've seen him on every cruise at least once. I remember a group of kids doing a type of scavenger hunt that was supposed to lead to Freddy on one of the ships. It was so cute to see them all marching along singing that sort of military marching chant- "I don't know but I've been told Freddy has a heart of gold". They were kept busy doing that all afternoon back and forth through the ship.

I so hope that Freddie is on our cruise in March because I just ordered the dolls to be delivered to my grandchildrens rooms.

If they could get a picture taken with Freddie I know they would be thrilled!

Just returned from the Valor. Freddy is there, but you really have to catch him. It took me til 2 days before leaving to find him to take a picture with my 3 year old. I guess its being in the right place at the right time.

I saw Freddy a couple of times on Conquest and he posed for pics when we got off the ship at one port. It's interesting, but something always creeps me out as an adult when those characters try to interact with me! I don't know what it is but I feel like I'm having an interaction with an inanimate object and I makes me feel kinda silly! LOL

He doesn't come up to the funnel deck ;)

We have run into Freddie on each cruise. If all else fails, you can usually find him on Formal Night around the Dining Rooms.

Freddy was on the Conquest - saw him on the Lido deck as we stopped for a Fun Ship Special the first afternoon, plus a couple other times around the ship.

 

I said: "It's Fun Ship Freddy!"

I saw him last week on on the Liberty 2 day cruise. On my other cruises he's been greeting the passengers when you board the ship. I also saw him on formal night.

Didn't see Freddy on the Fantasy this weekend. We wondered where he was. We probably just weren't in the right place at the right time.
