Bermuda - Experiences with Casino staying open while in port.

Hey there.

We travel with my folks and they are pretty big gamblers. I head that the casinos on-board are now allowed to open for limited hours when the ship is in port in Bermuda.

The cruise we are looking at would have 4 days in Bermuda.

Can anyone tell me what their experience is with Casino hours while the ship is in port?

Thanks.

There is a caveat to this. Each ship needs to purchase a license from the Bermuda government to open the casino. If the ship you are on is not doing Bermuda regularly, there is a chance they will not buy the license for the one or two times the ship will be there. (Yes, that is ship, not cruise line.) Odds are, if the ship is going regularly, the casino will be opened, but if its a one off, it might not be.
