newfielover Posted March 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2017 I just sailed on the Regal March 12-19. On the night of March 12 we made a side trip to Nassau to drop off 2 critically ill patients before sailing to Princess Cays. We were never told why we made the emergency stop. Does anyone know why? snowskier Posted March 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2017 Perhaps it was to facilitate medical assistance for the two critically ill patients.
AF-1 Posted March 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2017 on another thread the OP mentioned that two passengers had to be taken to hospital in Nassau; thus the ship stopped and dropped them off

It seems to me medical situations are private, and a stranger should not expect to learn the details. I don't think one would get very far calling a hospital after seeing an ambulance, to inquire what happened to the person inside.
