SixOneTwo Posted March 26, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 26, 2017 How sad for him and his family. He joins his previously-deceased bandmate Brad Delp, original Boston lead singer. Look up his manner of death sometime. Very, very strange; very, very tragic.
Reds4life Posted March 26, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Sad news. After reading more about the event, I am curious to see if MSC hires on some of the acts as a permanent show. It would certainly "Americanize" the ship further.
FIREFIGHTERCRUISER Posted March 26, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Wow that is crazy. We just got back from that cruise. No word was mentioned of this during the cruise and this is the first I heard of it. We had tons of people with the Legends of Rock lanyards during our cruise. This must have been one of the private events.
coscab Posted March 26, 2017 #9 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Wow that is crazy. We just got back from that cruise. No word was mentioned of this during the cruise and this is the first I heard of it. We had tons of people with the Legends of Rock lanyards during our cruise. This must have been one of the private events. My DH and I were with the Legends of Rock group. Weds night was private but you could pay at the door if you wanted to attend. We had a private service for him Thurs. morning. Sibs wife wanted the shows to continue as she felt that it was what he would want, he loved to entertain his fans. The band Hybrid Ice plays as back up band for most of the concerts so John Elefante of Kansas and Kevin Chalfant, Journey, Mark Lindsay, as well as others were able to put on a tribute concert Fri evening, it was emotional for the musicians, most of them were very close to Sib and his wife but they were able to give us a rockin' show in his honor, they are all outstanding and humble musicians, there was so much love in that theater.
