The update from the captain is that the repairs were successful on the propulsion issue and we are cruising at near top speed and the sway is gone so all is good so far!

How does getting Tendering tickets work to get to Coco Cay? where do you go to get the tickets? Also What if you have an excursion planned for 10am are you guaranteed a tender ticket prior to that time. Thanks in advance

They said you pick up the tickets on the morning of around 7:30 am. If you have an excursion you will get priority...

I am assuming that when you bring your own wine onboard, you can bring it to a restaurant - yes? Is there a corkage fee, i.e. they charge me $x to bring my own bottle?

Thanks for such a detailed and fun review of your week.

We leave Sunday, April 2 - 3 days!

No corkage fees anywhere on the ship.

As far as general tickets they started about 7:30 am handing out tickets in 270 venue on a first come first serve basis. We snagged tender ticket #5 and were on the second tender over to the island, but the later you get in line the higher your tender # and the later you will get over there. We heard from several people at dinner that night that they had ticket #30 or so and could not find an open lounge chair on the island when they arrived around noon and sat on towels, so earlier is better in that regard.

I believe, but am not 100 % sure that if you have an excursion you may meet at a designated area to tender, but please double check and do not rely in this as I am not positive.

This I will have to ask. Sounds reasonable but I will check and hopefully someone knows from experience and can offer an answer as well. Have a blast on your cruise!

Good Morning Cruise Critics, welcome to Day 6 onboard Anthem! Today we arrive in Port Canaveral and will need to clear customs and immigration before the ship is cleared.

Getting ready to screen all passengers

We have transfer ticket to go to Cocoa Beach and Ron Jon Shop, so we hope to sightsee a bit and maybe grab lunch and walk the beach. All aboard is 3:30 then we set sail back to Cape Liberty boo hooo :(

Priority for excursions depends on what time you arrive and what time the excursion is. Early excursions will meet and get off the ship on the first or second tender. Later ones, don't necessarily do that since they figure people have time to get ashore. We were in Coco Cay on Enchantment a few years ago with another ship and it was crowded but there were seats. We'll be there in a couple of weeks on GR and were originally scheduled with Anthem which has since been changed, fortunately. Can you imagine? We weren't even going to bother to get off if Anthem was there too. Last time we were there, it was drizzly and overcast and the water was choppy. Hoping for a nice day this trip.

Good info! Really glad Anthem has changed it's stop with you as I cannot imagine two ships at coco cay at the same time! Seems like a ship day to me if that was the case.

Hope you have a great time!

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. Sitting down to breakfast I told my DH I had to get on CC to see how SeaDog is feeling today. ;)

Seriously though, check out the radar for the east coast today, specifically the northeast. Your showers are the tail of a nasty storm hitting NJ today and New England today and tomorrow. Heavy rain here in NJ but 12-18" of snow in parts of New England today and tomorrow.

You may have some incoming swell on your way home this afternoon and tonight. :(

And creaking and swaying and bumping.

I hope not...hope it blows out before you head up the coast.
