Any Services Provided for Easter?

We are sailing over Palm Sunday, Good Friday & Easter - will there be any worship services provided for Easter? Many years ago when we traveled over Easter there was a beautiful service attended by passengers and crew - I think it was the ships Chaplin but I don't think they have those any longer.

Are religious services available on board?

 

Celebrity ships offer religious services for Catholic and Jewish faiths, as well as, Interdenominational services during major religious holidays (see detailed information below). Guests of all faiths are able to host their own spiritual fellowship or group gathering by inquiring with the Guest Relations Desk onboard. Catholic Mass: A Roman Catholic Priest will conduct daily mass during Lent, Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday, and Christmas Day.

Interdenominational Services: A Minister will conduct services on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day.

Jewish Services: A Jewish Rabbi or Cantor will conduct services during Passover, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Hanukkah.

In-Port Religious Services: Please check with the Guest Relations Desk for information pertaining to your respective faith. Due to the varied itineraries, each ship has religious services information for local houses of worship.

Holy Land Voyages: A Roman Catholic Priest will conduct Daily and Sunday Mass during each Holy Land cruise. A Jewish Rabbi or Cantor will conduct Friday evening Shabbat Service during each Holy Land cruise.

I was on the Silhouette for a TA last April, a missionary was returning home from Honduras to Switzerland-speaking with him he said this was cheaper then airfare and the benefit of 12 day (he got off at LeHavre) vacation.

We are on board the Silhouette right now. There is daily Mass offered due to Lent. We had a lovely Sunday evening Mass last night with about 32 people attending. Father Jack will be offering a Saturday evening Mass. so we don't have to worry about Mass on Sunday after disembarkation. Very pleased!
