I'm looking to book a cruise in June on Ventura and I'm looking for the best price before I book. Last year whilst on Britannia we paid for two next cruise certificates and also achieved the first tier on the pennisular club. When I made a online booking enquiry the other day, I entered both mine and my wife's pennisular number into the site and it happily recognised them and applied the appropriate reduction and added the on-board spending. Was about to book when my wife thought she had better check with her work that she could have the leave, so I exited the booking. Now ever since whenever I try to enter the correct pennisular numbers the site tells me that it cannot find any customer with that name and number combination; for either myself or my wife. I first thought it was a site glitch, but even a few days later it's still doing it. I spoke to P&O today and they checked on their system and the numbers are correct as are the rest of my details, but she was unable to tell me what the issue was as she didn't know. I guess I can book over the phone but just wondered if anyone here can shed any light on what's going on? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
daiB Posted March 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2017 No idea, but that is another reason why I do not book on line. Use a good cruising TA. Then they have to sort out these problems not you. Rare Eglesbrech Posted March 30, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 30, 2017 I had exactly the same problem, red warning and box turned red but went ahead with the online booking and at the very last section the discount was applied.
