anugama143 Posted April 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2017 Anyone have any recent positive or less than positive experiences to share? Any tips or suggestions? Thanks! "Traveling tends to magnify all human emotions.” — Peter Hoeg
BillK7 Posted April 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2017 Since you asked.......here was the deal on our recent cruise on the Regatta from Buenos Aires....due to a flu epidemic the launderette was closed for about a third of the trip. I was fortunate to have done my wash about day 11 of 22. They did offer a deal (not because the launderette was down) of 20 items for $25. I doubt this issue is what you had in mind. But now you know it can happen. Pack accordingly and wash when you can with this possibility in mind. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
anugama143 Posted April 2, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted April 2, 2017 Thanks for the heads up! Hope they have that 20 for $25 deal on our May cruise. "Traveling tends to magnify all human emotions.” — Peter Hoeg
Hawaiidan Posted April 2, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2017 I found using the ships laundry...where you pay and have it done for you is far more pleasurable and not as expensive as you thuink a 17 day cruise ran us $125.00.... On the other hand we tried on O and R ships to use the self service laundry $4 a load/dry.. while cheap getting in was similar to the" Oklahoma Land rush."... and once you did get inside the tension dwarfed that of the tension on the DMZ between South and North Korea.... lot of drama and personalities come out....( its a good thing they prohibit passengers from bring on weapons on the cruise) So much nicer to have stuff done for you, hung on hangars and put away... while your sitting in Waves sipping a martini than fighting for a machine

Rare LHT28 Posted April 2, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 2, 2017 the bag deal is usually only offered on longer cruise 15 days or more I think or if there is something going around where the laundry room is closed
