St. Kitts Marriott Day Pass

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever done the day pass at the Marriott St. Kitts? If so - how much and did you like the beach. Thank you

I've only been to St. Kitts a couple of times and if I recall the beaches are rocky (volcano.) I seem to recall from the bus tour to one of St. Kitts beaches, that Marriott has real sand and my understanding is that it was imported from some other island.

We did and absolutely loved it. One of my most favorite port days. The taxi ride was easy and the beach was amazing. The water is a bit rough--tons of fun and wave jumping, but not bathtub like other islands/beaches. We had a lite lunch and i remember it being expensive, but for the towels, great pool and amazing beach--was well worth it. I believe it was $30/per person. Taxi was $3/per person I believe.

We had a lot of Marriott points so we used them for a room. That day we had high winds and the surf and beach area was pretty rough, so we didn't go in the water. We did spend our time near the pool area which was just OK. We, also, got some rain and were able to retreat to the room and relax through the bad weather. It was nice to be able to take a good shower before returning to the ship. As was said before, the taxi ride was easy and available. I would recommend keeping an eye out for the weather. We probably will not do that again, though.

We just did the Marriott beach day at St. Kitts three weeks ago and it was awesome! Beautiful sandy beach with loungers and cabana-like roofs. Access to the three pools. Reasonable food and drinks at 10% off, clean changing rooms and bathrooms. Easy cab ride to and from the cruise port (about $15 each way total for two people).

Highly recommended. My wife wants to go back to St. Kitts just so we could do another day like we had there.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't want to take a taxi over there just to find out that they have sold out of day passes. I emailed the resort and they said the pass can be purchased there for $35/adult. Kids age 17 and under are free. They also said to bring towels since those are not provided. I've looked online and if you purchase beforehand, it is more expensive. I am sailing on the Allure and it looks like for the day that we'll be in St. Kitts on 6/29, the Allure will be the only ship in port so I'm crossing my fingers that we will be able to purchase the day passes when we get there.

We went to this Marriott a few years ago and it was just OK. To be fair, the weather was not that great. It was windy and the water was rough so we did not spend much time on the beach. The pool had a swim up bar that we enjoyed. I can't remember how much we paid to use their facility, but by the time we ate and drank there we had spent quite a bit of money. Some friends of ours joined us and stopped in the casino on the way in and no one ever asked them to pay for a day pass. (I am sure they paid more in the casino!) We are stopping in St. Kitts off of Allure in March and are going to do an excursion instead.

Been there 2 times, never bought a day pass, I could see from the towels on the beach there were some others from the ship there too. Since we had lunch there in the restaurant, we did not have to buy the pass, and the chairs on the beach were free.

We could never swim there, since the waves were to rough.
