Hey all,

 

I'll be on the Breakaway this Sunday, April 9th. I'm a Solo traveller with another friend booked in another room but he might be doing his own thing. I understand it's easter week so there will be plenty of kids. Which, I don't think will be an issue for me, I can always stay in H20. However, I missed out on going to the Vibe last year when I was on the Escape. Has anyone that has been on the Breakway in the past few weeks or so, or been on it last Easter break know if the Vibe is worth it?

I would always assume that different people will have different answers on the "worth" of something. That said, and for the sake of clarity, are you asking if it is worth it to me, or if I somehow know whether or not it would be worth it to you?

And remember, since you were last on the Escape, the new priority boarding has started. Havens, Casino, Ambassador, Platinum Plus, and Platinum passengers will all board before general boarding starts.

Are there really more kids on Easter cruises? Why would that be? I'm not a big fan of kids in general (SORRY!!!!) and we didn't even realize our cruise was on Easter til after we booked it.

Hi, yes with the kids most kids have off that week and the parents taking advantage of that . That means this cruise will have a good amount more kids. I didn't know that either but it was the only week could get off. I have kids but there staying home so just happy they not mine :D

BirdTravels just wondering if you've seen a thread where with the new priority boarding if indeed Vibe passes are harder to get.

For me its not worth it, but i'm not a sun person. However for those that like to lay out in the sun, i can see the attractiveness.

My idea of a great day on the ship is to sit at the pool, swim, hot tub dips, cool splash shower, drinks, listen to the band, sleep, flip through magazines ..... All of these scream VIBE, except, no pool and you cannot hear the band playing ..... if that's your idea of a great day, VIBE will be worth it to you. I am on that pool deck after breakfast and stay all day until the cattle call for dinner @ 6/7. I love the sun :)

 

VIBE has more than enough loungers so you wont have to go early to place your things; they have their own bar so there's no long wait to get your use of your ultimate beverage package; they have 2 hot tubs and the cool down splash showers. They also have beach umbrellas so you can snooze in the shade if you want.

 

It would be perfect for me if they had a wading pool :) I am attempting to grab a pass on the May 28, 2017 sailing. Seems to be hit/miss if you are not one of the lucky to board before general boarding.
