What is the time frame for walk off disembarkment in Miami?

We have a private car service picking us up at the port of Miami

And plan to do walk off. Does 9:00 sound like a good time for pickup, or should we reserve for an 8:00 pickup?

Thanks

walk off with luggage is usually early. If you have a car picking you up you need time for the customs line and it can be slow.. so plan for delays in line

Also .. what cruise ? If it is a TA it can be very slow

10-day Caribbean cruise in Oct. we've done walk off twice in Ft Lauderdale and I think they called us at 7:20 and we were at the airport by 8:00. I definitely want to give myself a buffer between disembarking and going through customs. I was mostly curious about people's experience in Miami.

I also don't want to reserve a pickup for 9:00 and have to wait for an hour after getting through customs, either.

If you want to get through quickly, then I would leave the ship around 7:30 if walking off. You should be done with everything in about 20 minutes. LInes will grow later in the morning.
