We just returned from a cruise on the Emerald. The ship is absolutely gorgeous. Nicest and best appointed cabin we have experienced on the 7 river cruises we have taken. The crew were wonderful. Excursions were great. Our only issues were a couple of off ship evening venues that we had looked forward to and with which we were greatly disappointed, and lack of consistency of meal quality in the main dining room.

We didn't have laundry done. They do have a laundry service....no self service laundry. Pricing is similar to hotel pricing, so not inexpensive.
