Runaway Parent Posted April 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2017 Is my memory failing me, or did I read that you can purchase things in some of the terminals prior to boarding? I'm thinking someone said it was the drink packages, and suggestions included allowing guests to purchase excursions while they wait. Can someone tell me if I'm dreaming this up? If sales do occur, which ports and what? Thanks!

Corby114 Posted April 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 16, 2017 The only time I was able to purchase items prior to boarding a cruise was in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There was a small store past the security checkpoint that sold, beer, wine, and soda. They also sold cups, suntan lotion, etc.
nychad10 Posted April 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 16, 2017 You definitely can purchase things such as alcohol from a few small stores in the termini in your sailing out of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Once you board the ship they will take your alcohol and return it to you after the cruise.
