Amtrac Posted April 29, 2017 #101 Share Posted April 29, 2017 I never travel with electronics nor do I ever use the internet on a cruise . Always on iPad/iPhone making calls and researching topics when on a cruise. That's just met.. I don't worry that much about electronics. Money. Docs in the safe. Big_G Posted April 29, 2017 #102 Share Posted April 29, 2017 Most theft like this comes down to opportunity and convenience. Simply securing your valuables out of plain sight greatly increases your safety. You secure your jewelry and cash, I view electronics no differently; it is away and secured. This just about sums it up. People can do some stupid things at the spur of the moment. Saw many people arrested for shoplifting and other thefts in my career that could absolutely afford the item they stole. In those cases all that was required was opportunity and a brain fart. squick64 Posted April 30, 2017 #103 Share Posted April 30, 2017 I usually have my phone with me for time keeping...unless I'm going to the pool or something. I usually don't leave devices out, but I've also been known to forget when I was dashing off or something and not paying attention. It's no big deal.
