allison0523 Posted May 9, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 9, 2017 This is what it says. To me, these terms are better than most other travel insurance companies. Pre-Existing Condition means an illness, disease, or other condition during the 60-day periodimmediately prior to your effective date for whichyou, your Traveling Companion, or ImmediateFamily Member who is scheduled or booked totravel with you: received a recommendation for a diagnostic test, examination, or medicaltreatment; or took or received a prescription for drugs ormedicine. Item (2) of this de nition does not apply to acondition which is treated or controlled solelythrough the taking of prescription drugs or medicineand remains treated or controlled without anyadjustment or change in the required prescriptionthroughout the 60-day period before coverage iseffective under this Policy. dodge9 Posted May 9, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 9, 2017 Depends on when you purchased the insurance and when you had the condition. If it was pre existing to booking the cruise and you purchased the insurance at deposit, yes. But if you have the insurance and cancel due to a non covered pre existing condition you will at least get a future cruise credit, not for the full amount, but I think 75%
zqvol Posted May 9, 2017 #7 Share Posted May 9, 2017 Does NCL's trip insurance cover pre-existing conditions? Thanks. Yes it does under MOST circumstances. Read the policy that is linked above to get a better idea of when pre-existing conditions are NOT covered.
