Chillers or refrigerators

I had read that Conquest fridges didn't work very well so I made sure that our cabin steward brought us a bucket of ice as soon as possible. I never needed the ice because the fridge worked great and our drinks were very cold by the end of the first day.

Mine have worked fine. Leaving the outer door ajar helps.

Yeah, by putting them in those cabinets (even with vents cut in the side) it gets very warm inside there and the fridges have to work overtime. They definitely need more air circulation. Ours did good.

ours on Conquest kept the water cold just fine. We filled it with as many water bottles as we could when we first got there and let it ride. It took all night long to get really cold but it did get cold and stayed cold for the entire 7-day cruise. We bought 2 12 packs from fun shops pre-cruise and couldn't fit them all in at one time but we got a lot in there. Just replaced them with warm ones whenever we took out cold ones.

Haven't been on Legend but our Valor mini-fridge performed just fine too.

Mr Tef may have had a different experience but we had no problems at all. MUCH colder than "barely below room temp".
