livingitup Posted May 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2017 We did it...booked our first 3 nighter!!! Hubby and I are on Majesty Labor Day weekend! Ok, question time... Are 3 nighters a real fun time? Should we worry about dinner attire? What to do in Nassau at night? Being Labor Day will there be things to do in Nassau or will things be shut down/closed for holiday? Can anyone provide cruise compasses for this itinerary? Is there anything else we need to know?:D :D:D:cool:

woodz Posted May 11, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2017 Labor Day is a US holiday so I don't believe it will impact Nassau.
cb at sea Posted May 11, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 11, 2017 Get a guidebook on the Bahamas...that can really help with what to do there. A cab ride will get you to the Atlantis casino! 3 nighters will have their share of partiers...trying to fit a weeks worth of fun into a weekend! Enjoy! Be aware that the cabins on Majesty are pretty tight!
Rare Rewind Posted May 11, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 11, 2017 I took a walking tour in Nassau a few years ago (lookup Fromer's Walking Tour). I think the neatest parts were the Queen's Staircase, the Water Tower, and Fort Fincastle. I also took a taxi over to Atlantis and walked around the shops and was able to get into the Dig aquarium.
