KLOlson Posted May 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2017 NBA series between Warriors and Spurs includes several games while we're sailing on the Miracle May 20-27. All games will be on ESPN . Can anyone confirm if ESPN is currently an available channel onboard? I can't find this info on Carnival's website. Thank you and GO Warriors! gatorbean Posted May 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2017 Based on my experience on Glory April 2017 - Did not see it in the line up for the room TV. There was a sports bar/room which had many TVs showing ESPN and other sports.
SCAnthony Posted May 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2017 Same here, we were on the Dream in Nov '15 and I wanted to watch a college football game, had to go to casino bar. No ESPN in the rooms then. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
SNJCruisers Posted May 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 14, 2017 More often than not the ESPN on board is the international feed, which means foosball and cricket. Sent from my XT1254 using Forums mobile app
teknoge3k Posted May 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 14, 2017 I hope the Splendor has ESPN on it because I really want to catch the ACC baseball tournament. I don't mind going to a bar to see it.
coevan Posted May 15, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 15, 2017 do the Miracle balcony cabins have flat screen TV's?
RHilla619 Posted May 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted May 15, 2017 You will not be able to watch ESPN in your stateroom, Carnival has the channel blocked/no signal. But ESPN is always on the Sports Bar (if your ship has one) and in the Casino. It's a revenue move, they want you watching the game in one of the bars and buying drinks, not laying in bed. The ESPN the ship gets is an international one, but I would expect to be able to see the Warriors/Spurs series.
tef43 Posted May 15, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 15, 2017 No worries, ESPN Deportes did in fact carry Game One yesterday.
cajunfla Posted May 15, 2017 #9 Share Posted May 15, 2017 If the ship has a sports bar, probably will be on in there. Beware, seating is very limited. Maybe 40 chairs.
Cruiseman38 Posted May 15, 2017 #10 Share Posted May 15, 2017 I was on Glory last year for the Cavs/Warriors finals and the games were all on in the sports bar and the rooms. At the time, the sports bar was an ESPN bar. I believe this has changed though, but don't see why they will not still have the games on.
