How many of you that are doing the 14 day Alaska, Sept. 2nd are taking kids ?

Not us....but our Alaska cruise last summer had tons of kids. I was surprised how many families were onboard.

You might want to ask on your Roll Call. Since it's a longer cruise and almost the new school year, you probably won't see as many as on the summer sailings.

I think it will be a pretty child-free cruise. You are unlikely to find many parents willing to take their kids out of the first 2 weeks of school.

It may depend on the age of your kids and if they need the childhood interactions all day. We were on a business reward trip the first time we cruised Alaska and were kicking ourselves that we did not have our children with us. We finally had to buck up and spend out for a return for us with the kids. Alaska is a must see cruise. Like I said it depends on their ages. But I would say Middle school and above will get so much out of it and so many life long memories.

We will be going without kids and B2B with the one after. We did a B2B a few months ago also on Miracle, also the first leg was a Journey's cruise. The long leg had very few kids, turnover day was crazy. The second leg, only 6 days, had TONS of kids.
