refundable onboard credit

on my last cruise i had 120 uds refundable credit , 2 weeks later the end of my cruise i still wait this amount on my account ...

 

 

is it normal ? will they realy refund it ?:confused:

You will receive it but it usually takes more than 2 weeks. My refund came about 5 weeks after the cruise ended. A check will come in an envelope that you may think is just advertising mail so make sure you open anything you get from Princess.

You will receive a cheque for the amount in about six weeks. They don't refund to your credit card anymore.

Thats Crasy They dont refund the Credit card , next Time i Will go to the casino !! Plus i bought 2 next cruise coupon and They didnt took the amont on my on board acount, They took It directly from my card , the other company dont do that :((

Royal/Celebrity always charges next cruises or future cruises or deposits on cruises you book on the ship to your credit card. Never goes against your shipboard account.

Princess future cruise deposits always get charged directly to your CC and not your onboard account. ;)

 

It may take a while to get your refund.

But they definitely refund your OBC to your credit card. I had $200 refunded to my credit card within 3 days after disembarking in January. I didn't realize that Princess did that differently.

This is correct. Ours took 3-4 weeks and luckily we had read about the "3rd party" return address on the envelope so made sure we opened and checked anything we weren't sure about Once you open the envelope, it's clear that the check is from Princess.

I believe there is a statement right on the final shipboard account printout that is delivered the last night stating a check will be mailed in around four weeks and asking that you get a cash refund from a Passenger Services if you are owed less than $25.

That won't help as I am almost certain that there is no mention of "Princess" on the envelope.

I think this is part if making it easier to refund your FCD to you if you don't use it within two years.

Received our on-board credit refund check today. Our cruise ended July 8. It took exactly 30 days to receive the check, pretty good for Princess.

The timing might be a bit different for the OP. They are in Europe.
