SPG near Port

I am an SPG platinum member and am looking to book the night before our cruise June 2018. Any ideas on an SPG property that is near the port but also near some fun restaurants or stuff for kids to do. Thanks!

What is now called the Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port Inn (formerly Comfort Suites) located at the corner of Federal Highway and SE 17th Street is being re-branded as a Sheraton Four Points on July 6, 2017.

Oh, wait...That hotel is in Ft Lauderdale and you need Miami. Unless, of course, you are flying into FLL

I forgot you were asking about Miami, but if you are flying into FLL then I would stay in Ft. Lauderdale, especially since the rates look pretty good at this property for June, 2018.

There is a Sheraton Miami airport if you are flying into Miami. They have a complementary shuttle that will pick you up at the airport.
