bbryan5 Posted May 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2017 I saw another thread on here saying that on a recent Dawn curse, there was no priority boarding for CAS bookings. I was under the impression that CAS guests always got priority boarding. Any CAS guests sail the Breakaway lately? Is there priority boarding for CAS? Anyone know the boarding order? Special needs, Haven, CAS..etc??? Thanks!!
esm54687 Posted May 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2017 Breakaway has CAS priority boarding at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal (and special check in and seating area) Sorry to hijack a little: does the Gem have CAS treatment at MCT?
brian99 Posted May 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2017 Different ports have different boarding procedures. On Breakaway at NYC, CAS boards right after Haven guests.
Rare mking8288 Posted May 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2017 Breakaway has CAS priority boarding at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal (and special check in and seating area) Sorry to hijack a little: does the Gem have CAS treatment at MCT?For last 3 years, BA's CAS has been given a dedicated check-in and early boarding, after Havens, suites, VIP's and special needs ... before Platinum (wedding/groups also get ahead of CAS). Our clan hasn't been sailing the BA lately so can't speak for sure. We're on the Gem 3 weeks ago, CAS were boarding after Platinum/+ and Ambassadors, after Haven, suites and VIP's. There're far fewer Platinum guests in the designated waiting/seating area whereas the numbers for CAS were far greater, in the hundreds. LOL (not kidding, for real). Pier agent doing the check-in for Platinum & CAS, side-by-side, were joking that nearly half of those showing up early being CAS. Haven't heard from those that returned last week (or this morning) on the Gem as to whether this is the new boarding sequence or not ? Invited T/A's and guests, as well as wedding parties are day visitors and must leave prior to sailing, so they get ahead of most while the ship is in the port. We sailed on the Jewel last month and only Havens and Latitude Ambassador/Platinum+/Platinum members got priority boarding. No CAS.

Rare BirdTravels Posted May 21, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 21, 2017 What is cas? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Forums Casinos at Sea. NCL's casino program. On any cruise, there are a large number of passengers that are guests of the NCL casino or land based casinos that give cruise certificates to their customers.
