hentzkim Posted May 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2017 We will be on the Millennium during the Stanley Cup Finals. My hometeam will be playing for the 1st time for the Stanley Cup. Is there any chance that it will be shown on the ship. Go Nashville Predators
DirtyDawg Posted May 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2017 (edited) We will be on the Millennium during the Stanley Cup Finals. My hometeam will be playing for the 1st time for the Stanley Cup. Is there any chance that it will be shown on the ship. Go Nashville Predators The games will be on NBC and NBC Sports in the U.S. If they can get CBC somehow while near Canada you might get them to put the games on somewhere on the ship. You might want to gather up all the Country music fans on the ship to petition the bar staff to show the games. The National Anthems (i.e both Canada's hopefully as well as yours) will be sung by some big country singers for the home games! If that fails, you can always stream the games to your phone or tablet/laptop and hold your own Predators Party!:D:beer-mug: P.S. Even it Ottawa does get in the Cup finals, I'll be cheering on the Preds. It's really hard to not cheer for P.K.! No to mention Mr. Underwood. :) But if Pittsburg gets in............. Sid the kid or P.K????? Edited May 23, 2017 by DirtyDawg

Go Nashville Predators As a just in case if you have a laptop and the internet on ship is decent you can watch on the link below, if using a tablet they caststreams has an app you can install. You need a video player app such as VLC or MX video installed. You might want to try it out with the Ottawa/Pengs upcoming game to make sure it works before you go. Go Leafs http://www.caststreams.com/app/#/main/main/feeds
phoenix_dream Posted May 24, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2017 Seriously doubt you can stream them and seriously doubt they will be on TV. Put in a request to the media officer, but your chances are slim in our experience. Good luck in the games. Our Blackhawks really tanked this year:')
UKPete71 Posted May 24, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2017 If they can pick up a sports channel that is showing the Stanley Cup it'll be shown in the Casino Bar. On Reflection recently they had ESPN on showing the play-offs as I caught a Rangers/Senators game.

The bartender said they are limited to a small amount of sports channels depending on their sat package. Sooooo, we ended up missing the stanley cup games because, get this, they only had women's college softball!? Have a great cruise... Mike

koolforkatz Posted May 25, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 25, 2017 I was on the Century a few years ago on an Alaska cruise and they played a couple of Stanley Cup finals games in one of the bars. They set up a large screen TV just for it. Don't recall, but they probably picked it up from CBC (Canadian Broadcasting).
ship101 Posted May 26, 2017 #9 Share Posted May 26, 2017 thanks everyone. I can only hope.....Smashville, go Preds! We were on the Dawn last week and we watched all hockey games in the O'Sheahan. Good luck!

AVVID Posted May 26, 2017 #12 Share Posted May 26, 2017 We are about to board constellation, except we are delayed for 2 days due to propulsion software issues. Being from Ottawa, we were wondering the same. We will now have to cheer for Nashville and Mike Fisher...
