Warnemunde to Berlin Shore Excursions

Has any one done a shore excursion from Warnemunde to Berlin through NCL or other company that you would highly recommend???

Friends recommended Alla Tours when we were there last week on the Getaway. Someone has also provided another recommendation in the Getaway review thread lower down on the forum page.

I did it on Hal Eurodam, 2.5 hr train trip directly to Berlin, bus trip, and free for lunch! Wonderful!

We used SPB for Belin and St Petersburg. Both were excellent. You got a discount when you booked more than one. It was a long day to Berlin but saw lots. Highly recommended.

Thanks! Frugalsgirl - did you get to walk around the sites in Berlin much or mostly drive by? I really don't want to just look from a bus window.

Had SPB Tours too last year for 2-day Deluxe St. Petersburg and Berlin. Was well worth it.

It was a lot of walking. Started at the Olympic stadium then walked at another site bused to the Reichstag. Then lots of walking round Berlin centre with short hop on the minibus to the next wander. Guide was very informative. felt we saw lots.

If you go over to the PORTS OF CALL board for EUROPE you will find all kinds of information on Berlin as well as tours to do that aren't so far from the port. There are a lot of experts on that subforum that are very helpful.

If you've never been to Berlin, GO. Some people will say not worth the drive/train ride, but it has so much history plus the wall.

 

We did a small group of about 7 in a smaller van. They gave an outline of what to do but we modified things to our wants. All the main ones you see out there are good groups like Alla, Denrus, etc.
