ordering alcohol

departing from Houston next Sat. I was told there is a place to order beer etc etc and it will be delivered to your room?

The cruise line will NOT allow you to purchase beer for delivery to the ship. You have to bring it on yourself, basically hidden in your luggage. You can have wine delivered via a bon voyage package, but not just an order of beer.

 

You can order beer from room service, but not from a liquor store in Houston.

not talking about ordering from the ship. I read posts where they order by the port and it is waiting in their room for them. It costs more than you would pay at a store.

In reading another post recently I discovered that a company called Well Wishers will deliver to your ship. They wrap the packages so the staff doesn't know what is in there.

 

I got on their website wellwishers.com but only saw wine and gifts. However, one of the posts said if you call you CAN order a case of beer and/or alcohol to be delivered to your stateroom on the day of embarkation.

We're cruising in Jan 06 on the Norwegian Jewel, so I haven't called yet.
