Losing my discount?

Hi everyone . Its been a while!

My hubby and I are looking at a cruise next February. When i called to Look into using my Royal caribbean Visa Points I was told if I redeem them i lose the discounts that are on the main site.

has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, many of the redemptions are not combinable with Crown & Anchor discounts. It's one of the many ways that Royal has reduced benefits.

 

If you are trying to redeem points for a "free" cruise, "free" upgrade, or "free" companion fare, these will not be combinable with C&A discounts. However, if you redeem for a straight discount or OBC, you can still get your C&A discount.
